Delivery and Packaging

Delivery Information

Where do you deliver?

We currently ship within the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. This will gradually be expanded to include other parts of the UK in the near future.

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders are processed, packed and dispatched within 2-3 days, not including weekends.

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as our standard shipping service. This is usually a 2 day service (weekdays only), although Royal Mail currently state that due to Covid services may be disrupted.

Tracked 48 allows you to follow your order from when it leaves us to when it is delivered. We send an email confirmation with the tracking details when your order has been dispatched.

Will the order need signing for?

No, all our postal services do not require a signature. We have taken the decision not to offer this currently due to Covid. We may reinstate this option once the pandemic looks to have subsided.

Can I get faster shipping?

Yes, you can choose Tracked 24 at the checkout. This is also a tracked service and you will be emailed with your tracking number when your order is sent. Please bear in mind that due to Coronavirus Royal Mail do not guarantee next day delivery with this service.

Can I specify an AM or PM delivery?

Unfortunately the Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services are limited to delivery during normal business hours i.e. 8am to 6pm. If you know roughly when your postman delivers parcel orders, often a different member of staff to your letter postman, then this will give you an indication of the timing during the day when your order may arrive.

What happens if I am not at home when the postman attempts delivery?

The postman should leave a red calling card which looks something like this:

Royal Mail Red Card - Missed Delivery

In most cases this offers you the option to arrange a re-delivery or to collect from your local Customer Service Point or CSP (this is sometimes known as the ‘Royal Mail Local Delivery Office’); this is unless the order has been left with a neighbour or put in your ‘Safe Place’

What is a ‘Safe Place’?

Royal Mail now allow you to choose a place where the postman can leave your order. The instructions for this will be printed on the dispatch label for the postman to see.

Once you have added an item to your ‘Cart’, visit the ‘Cart’ page and fill out the form just below your chosen product(s). Keep the note short but precise e.g. ‘leave inside mud porch’ or ‘leave behind bin store’. Just make sure to choose somewhere that is out of sight and will not get muddled up with your refuse!

Packaging

Is there any plastic in your wrapping?

No, there is no plastic in the packaging used to protect your order whilst in transit. The Floribana stands are sent in recyclable brown cardboard boxes and secured with brown paper tape.

We use the smallest sized box to fit our Floribana in order to reduce the amount of void fill needed to protect your order. Any small gaps inside the box are filled with recycled brown paper and any packing we receive from suppliers is also re-used where possible. All the outer packaging can be placed in your normal recycle bin.

What about the presentation box?

The white presentation box which holds your Floribana is designed for the safe storage of your stand when not in use. The box itself is made from 40% recycled boxboard and once the label, magnet, and ribbon seal are removed the box can be recycled. Although the intention is that this box will be kept for many years along with your stand!
